To help our customers better locate the updates of our products, we have organized the updates based on specific product models in separate blog posts. Please note that this blog post is currently not being updated. For the version history of each product, kindly refer to the following links:

As our customers may already know, YoloBox/Pro is an Android-based software-driven device. It is constantly evolving and getting all the more powerful with additional features through updates.

On the other hand, we pride ourselves as a live streaming technology company that has the industry’s most responsive and diligent engineering team.

Please see below the version history of YoloBox, YoloBox Pro, YoloBox Mini, and Instream’s software updates.

YoloBox Ultra Updates

YoloBox Utra v1.7.0 (Released on 2024/2/5)

• Multicam replay with the option to add intro and outro (Join “YoloLiv User Group” to offer feedbacks to help us further improve)
• App Control (Beta). 1. Download the App to your phone(currently Android only) by visiting https://bit.ly/yololivappcontrolapk or find it in our Facebook User Group. 2. Instream v1.4.0 (Released on 2022/12/21)

  • Video Cropping (Crop a video as a new video source with customized aspect ratio);
  • Turn horizontal videos into vertical videos instantly
  • More graphic overlays: Titles and Lower-thirds
  • Even more customizations. You can set the border thickness and color and add image & video background for Multi-views.
  • CapCut is now built-in. You can edit your recordings without exporting. You can also upload to TikTok/Instagram from Instream.

YoloBox Pro Updates

YoloBox Pro v5.1.0 (Released on 2023/8/22)

  • Optimized the overlay display from Overlay Lab
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement
  • Fixed audio noise issue when muting YoloBox Pro program audio

YoloBox Pro v5.0.0 (Released on 2023/6/5)

  • YoloLiv’s Network Bonding is finally official (The beta bonding feature will no longer be working from today, regardless of whether you’ve upgraded to version 5.0.0.)
  • Instant Replay could be saved as a new source in mp4 format
  • Option to Add Images as Video Source
  • AFV default setting turned off
  • Automatic page turning for PDF source
  • Fixed audio noise issue during long-time YouTube streaming
  • Lower Thirds support movement in all directions
  • WiFi support for displaying 2.4GHz/5GHz
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement

YoloBox Pro v4.2.0 (Released on 2023/4/16)

  • A new tab added for YoloCast Events, where you can manage all YoloCast events separately and the stream on YoloBox Pro and YoloCast is synced.
  • The Network bonding now supports USB dongle, which means you can now bond all 4 connections including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G LTE, and USB dongle.

YoloBox Pro v4.1.0 (Released on 2023/3/8)

  • Optimized audio metering accuracy
  • Optimized dropping frame issue over unstable network
  • Video replay now supports 0.75x speed playback and the Replay icon is optimized
  • Fixed the audio remains issue while Fade-to-black is enabled
  • Resumed adding RTMP destinations directly on YoloBox Pro
  • You can now stream up to 8,000 Kbps and 60fps for YoloCast events on YoloBox Pro

 

YoloBox Pro v4.0.6 (Released on 2023/2/9)

  • You can now add streaming destinations directly on YoloBox Pro. (But adding RTMP still needs to use YoloLiv’s own cloud platform YoloCast. Don’t worry, it’s free to use YoloCast to add destinations)
  • Fixed occasional App crash with the invite guest feature

 

YoloBox Pro v4.0.4 (Released on 2023/1/13)

  • You can now RECORD in the dedicated YoloCast Event on YoloBox Pro
  • Fixed occasional App crash and streaming failure (when in unstable network)

 

YoloBox Pro v4.0.0 (Released on 2022/12/15)

  • You can now stream YoloCast events on YoloBox. You can stream up to 15 destinations simultaneously, save live stream as one complete video and add thumbnails directly on YoloBox Pro. It’s another HUGE but FREE addition!
  • Network Bonding (Currently it only works for WiFi and 4G LTE data; Only available in North America)
  • Optimized audio sync for recordings and USB webcam out
  • Fixed the Twitch login issue

YoloBox Pro v3.2.0 (Released on 2022/12/2)

  • USB Webcam out now supports outputting both video and audio to a laptop;

  • Fixed green bar issue with a laptop as video input, which occurred on a small portion of computer models (Please go to “Account” > “System Upgrade” to update and fix).

YoloBox Pro v1.5.2 (Released on 2022/3/8)

  • Reusing project setting: you can now replicate the live stream and reuse it without any hassle (Please note, previously loaded and customized graphic overlays will be cleared after the update);
  • Animated GIF overlay support;
  • Superchat overlay support;
  • You can delete your live stream events in batch;
  • You can now delete scoreboard team logo;
  • You can now manually enter the desired bitrate with the new minimum bitrate at 1,000k bps.

YoloBox Pro v1.4.0 (Released on 2022/1/21)

  • USBC webcam out is now available. Please note that currently audio, overlays and background images are not supported;
  • Line in/Mic in audio volume is significantly imporved and balanced;
  • Audio delay adjustment (Up to 125ms for Mic-in & Line-in).

YoloBox Pro v1.3.1 (Released on 2021/12/17)

  • We currently support audio mixing up to 3 channels from 2 HDMI inputs, 1 Line-in/Mic-in, and 2 SD card inputs, of your choice;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement.

YoloBox Pro v1.2.0 (Released on 2021/11/22)

  • Animated countdown timer overlay is now available. Two pre-made designs with options to customize;
  • Support flipping screen upside down;
  • Support adjusting screen brightness by simply swiping down on the screen;
  • The comments overlap issue has been fixed;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement.

YoloBox Pro v1.1.0 (Released on 2021/10/29)

  • You can now record with a fixed frame rate, including 20fps, 24fps, 25fps, 29.97fps and 30fps;
  • You can choose a preferred video transition duration, including 0.5s, 1s, 1.5s, 2s, 2.5s and 3s;
  • You can adjust the speed of rolling captions;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement.

YoloBox Pro v1.0.9 (Released on 2021/10/19)

  • Chroma Key is now available for all video sources;
  • Up to 50,000Kbps for recording on Monitor Mode;
  • Record the whole live stream without being split;
  • Livestream to Facebook/RTMP(s) is supported under Single-platform stream mode;

YoloBox Pro v1.0.8 (Released on 2021/9/28)

  • Monitor Mode. You can now use YoloBox Pro only as a monitor and switcher without having to connect the internet or create an event;
  • Comments overlay styling like Streamyard. Customize your comments overlays with colors, fonts, size. You can also scale and drag it to where you want to place it;
  • Streaming Mode is now defaulted as “Direct Single-Platform Stream”;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement.

YoloBox Pro v1.0.6 (Released on 2021/9/14)

  • Support adding 2 videos from SD card. You can now add a total of 3 sources (2 videos & 1 PDF) from the SD card;
  • Scoreboard Countdown Timer is now available. Taking your sport live production to the next level;
  • Removed the limit of how many characters can be displayed when adding rolling captions.

YoloBox Pro v1.0.5 (Released on 2021/8/27)

  • You can now adjust the bitrate from 2,000 kbps to 8,000 kbps under different encoding settings;
  • You can now test internet speed on YoloBox Pro via “Network Test” in “Account”;
  • You can now view network indicator of upload and download speed displayed on the top of screen;

  • Overlay & Scoreboard: You can now customize your graphic overlays, including editing the fonts, colors, and background colors of your lower-thirds, scoreboard, rolling captions;
  • Network Test & Speed Indicator: You can now test Internet speed on YoloBox via “Network Test” in “Account”, and view network indicator of upload and download speed displayed on the top of the screen;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvement.

YoloBox v3.5.0 (Released on 2021/4/13)

  • Modified the background color of the scoreboard to make the color more neutral;
  • Added two video transition effects, “Flip Page” and “Cube”;
  • Supported single-platform live broadcast mode, you can use the box to directly push to the target without going through YoloLiv’s cloud service. Currently this version only supports RTMP protocol, therefore it does not support Facebook and RTMPS platforms for the moment;
  • Fixed the issue of frame dropping during live broadcast.

YoloBox v3.4.1 (Released on 2021/2/23)

  • Fixed an issue where some camera images would unexpectedly have green bars;
  • Fixed an issue when fps drops when USB input is plugged in;
  • Fixed an issue where some recorded videos cannot be accessed;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvements.

YoloBox v3.4.0 (Released on 2021/2/8)

  • Split-View and Side-By-Side are now supported;
  • You can now set the aspect ratio for the sub-screen of Picture in Picture;
  • There will be a dissolve effect when overlay appears.

YoloBox v3.3.0 (Released on 2021/1/8)

  • PDF from local SD card can be added as an extra video source;
  • You can now add comment overlay to the stream to interact with audiences! Premium desktop features For Free on YoloBox;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvements.

YoloBox v3.2.1 (Released on 2020/12/22)

  • You can now output your program with overlays and Picture in Picture;
  • You can now use transitions when switching video sources, including fade, wipe, Zoom, and many more;
  • You can now continuously record after the interruption of internet;
  • Fixes an issue where audio pops and clicks in some YouTube live-streaming;
  • Fixes an issue where some Cannon camera images would be unexpectedly stretched or cropped;
  • Standard bug fixes and performance improvements.

YoloBox v3.2.0 (Released on 2020/11/27)

  • You can now use transitions when switching video sources, including wipe, dissolve, and windowslice more in the making;
  • You can now save your RTMP configurations;
  • Power indicator optimization;
  • Standard bug fixes with cameras and audio.

YoloBox v3.1.0 (Released on 2020/11/3)

  • You can now schedule your live stream with direct integration;
  • You can now view comments from Facebook and YouTube on YoloBox;
  • Redesigned graphic overlay compression and improved display quality;
  • Image stretching issue on some Cannon models should also be fixed.

YoloBox v3.0.2 (Released on 2020/10/13)

  • Bug fix with RTMP notification emails(You will not miss any emails sent from our new servers, and probably more instant);
  • You can now re-use the same stream URL and stream key in different live events;
  • You can now further re-size overlay logos;
  • Line In Audio will also be automatically followed;
  • All IMEI will be displayed.
