Jasmin’s first experience with the YoloBox was during a cooking show, where it operated as a switcher while recording internally. They used three cameras: two Sony a7III’s and a Blackmagic Pocket Camera. This setup marked their first time using the YoloBox, and they were thrilled with its versatility.
Since then, they have used the YoloBox for various projects, including live streaming graduations and fitness events.
What Was Your Video Production Experience Before YoloBox?
Before finding YoloBox, Jasmin had a complex setup for her video production needs. She started by live streaming for her church, which quickly became one of her favorite aspects of video production. However, her initial setup included a desktop computer, multiple monitors, cameras, numerous cables, switchers, and various software, making it cumbersome and time-consuming. As business inquiries rolled in, she realized she needed a more mobile and efficient solution for her live streaming projects.

My first impression had me in awe! I went from having a desktop computer, monitors, cameras, a slew of cables, switchers, a stream deck, and multiple softwares, to a simple monitor/box! It is truly an all in one system! One major selling point when it came down to purchasing the Yolobox was its portability. As long as there’s wifi, you can stream from anywhere!

After researching several options, Jasmin discovered the YoloLiv system. The Setup
For a recent fitness event streamed on Instagram, the setup was seamless.
They paired the YoloBox with two Sony a7IV’s connected via HDMI and one Sony a7III using a USB to HDMI converter, allowing for a three-camera setup.
Despite slow internet at the gym, a mobile hotspot ensured a smooth streaming experience.
For audio, they employed the PicoGear wireless microphone system connected to one of the A7IV cameras.
Jasmin was impressed to find that the audio levels remained consistent, regardless of which camera they switched to—a fantastic feature that added to their overall production quality.
Favorite Features about YoloBox
Her favorite featur is the ability to include graphics during live streams, including logos, lower-thirds, titles, etc. This can make the production more professional and polished.
