YoloBox Extreme

WOW.. WOW…and WOW!!! First I must say that YOLOLIV shipped my Extreme super fast.! When I opened the box the first thing noticed was how meticulous it was packaged and how the power adapters were separated. As an owner of Yololiv’s Ultra, I was already familiar with how to power on the Extreme. When the screen came to life I couldn’t believe the crispness and clarity of the 11.2 inch OLED screen. I noticed that the menu screen is more intuitive, similar to a cell phone. Once I logged into my preexisting Yololiv account I was ready to go. I connected (3) 4K PTZ cameras, (1) Sony A7R 3 4K, (1) Sony A7R 5 4K, along with 1070p webcams through usb. The EXTREME’s CPU held steady at 44% .NICE. After playing around with it for few days, I took the Extreme to its first assignment in our nation’s capital, Washington DC, to stream a heath symposium for community based organization. I was able to connect (2) cameras 4K via NDI along with (3) networked PTZ cameras 4K. Everything went smoothly for 4 straight hours.!! This was the test that assured me that the Extreme Is the Real POWERHOUSE of all in one streaming devices..!!! The YoloLiv Extreme is the best, all in one, video switcher on the market. It is reliable, with always evolving features. It supports 4K streaming and has more inputs than most live streamers need. The interface is extremely easy to navigate and the online community is growing and very helpful. YoloLiv as a company is not new. Their products just keep getting better with the feedback of the users. I'm thankful every time I livestream to have a device I can count on in YoloLiv Extreme.

I owned a Yolobox Pro and then upgraded to the Yolobox Ultra, they both perform even better then I could have imagined.

The thing with the Yoloboxes is they offer a bunch of functions.

You have to test which combination of all the functions work best for your needs.

The Yolobox Ultra offered so much more then other video switchers with the built-in monitor, ISO Recorder, Easy Overlays and much more. Having NDI provides a huge resource of adding additional devices and provide a huge list of possibilities.

With that said: I now upgraded to the Yolobox Extreme.

The Extreme blows away the Ultra which I never thought was possible. I had the Extreme a couple weeks now I'm amazed how YoloLiv did it again, even bigger and more powerful and the OLED screen is absolutely amazing.

With the Extreme being able to record and stream in 4K is one like no other. With 8 HDMI inputs and several NDI connections makes the Extreme the most powerful and affordable switcher on the market.

Another strong point about Yololiv is they are always improving their products by listening to their customers and offering more and more features. I think the Extreme will be a powerhouse for a long time.

I have use analog Video Switchers, Sound boards, and TriCasters for very large corporate and sporting events took hours and days to setup and test.

Now I can do all that in just minutes right out of the box with my most favorite device, the Yolobox Extreme.

Just an amazing product from YoloLiv and I look forward to using the Yolobox Extreme for all my events.

It's going to get to be a 5-star device, but the software is not quite there. I have full confidence that it will, but the hardware is excellent. If you're really going to push the device with lots of NDI and 4k, be aware that you'll run out of CPU. If you run 8 HDMI in, you'll be ok. If you have 1 HDMI and a few NDI, it'll be tight but ok. Just be careful that you can't do all the things all the time and not cook the CPU. The software should clean up some of the efficiency over time, and the interface and options keep getting better. It's close enough to an OBS setup that I can now leave the PC behind, and that's all I ever wanted because I stream from a fairly difficult scaffolding position.

Yolo has said they do include a charger brick. After finding out about the wattage requirement, make sure you use the one that comes with, or a rated one.

Support is excellent, and the team have the right attitude. This device will get better over time, and I look forward to coming back and adding a 5th star.

Exceptional piece of machine if amazon did not mess me up in the shipment by losing it and sending 1 day late. Totally disguting shipping from amazon. Yololiv shipped on time but amazon did not even apoligise and just throw it on the ground 24 hours later. If you are into streaming this is a beast buy it
